The Dark Knight at the Curzon Cinemas

Published: Wednesday 6th of August 2008

After a long day exploring the multitude of fascinating tourist attractions London has to offer, why not stop at the Curzon Soho Cinema and enjoy one of the great movies being shown there?

The cinema is currently showing the latest instalment of the Batman series, The Dark Knight, which sees actor Christian Bale reunited with director Christopher Nolan.

Co-star Heath Ledger, who died from an accidental drug overdose earlier this year, is already being tipped to become the posthumous recipient of an Oscar statuette for his portrayal of the Joker in the film.

In The Dark Knight, the sequel to Batman Begins, The Joker unleashes a fresh wave of chaos and criminality across Gotham City, forcing the caped crusader to utilise every weapon at his disposal and confront everything he believes in.

Daily Mirror film critic David Edwards said of the film: "See The Dark Knight and you're guaranteed an exceptionally dark night at the cinema. You'll also see the finest superhero movie in years."

London Pass holders can watch a film at the Curzon Soho Cinema for free.
