London Restaurant Festival to give visitors things to do in London this autumn
Published: Wednesday 14th of April 2010
Tourists visiting London attractions can enhance their holiday with a trip to one of the capital's many fine eateries for the London Restaurant Festival.
The second-annual event of its kind will be taking place between October 4th and 18th, featuring events and deals at over 800 different restaurants across the capital.
Tourists will be able to finish a City Cruises trip with a light snack for lunch at one of the festival's participating venues, or conversely go for several courses at a West London restaurant after enjoying the Chelsea FC Stadium Tour.
London Restaurant Festival chair Fay Maschler said: "For 2010 the Festival Menus are the heartbeat of the two-week celebration.
"The greater number of establishments that sign up to publicise their talent, cuisine and menu, the more potential customers can be alerted to somewhere new to try or [be] reminded of somewhere worth revisiting."
A number of events were taking place across London attractions earlier this month to celebrate Easter.
Kew Gardens and Kenwood House both hosted egg hunts on Easter Sunday, while a number of museums held Easter-themed special events.
