A Frosty interview or Woody classic at Chelsea Cinema
Published: Tuesday 27th of January 2009
Film lovers have a choice of two new films in the next two weeks at Chelsea Cinema.
Showing from today (January 27th) until February 5th is Frost/Nixon, a film directed by Ron Howard chronicling the legendary interview between Sir David Frost and disgraced former US president Richard Nixon.
The film tells the tale of how the interview came to be, with both men seeking to raise their falling stars.
Frost/Nixon has just been nominated for five Oscars, including best picture, best director and best actor for Frank Langella, who plays Nixon, while British actor Michael Sheen takes on the part of David Frost.
Showing from February 6th until the 19th is Vicky Cristina Barcelona, the latest film from legendary director and writer Woody Allen.
Scarlett Johansson and Rebecca Hall are two Americans in Barcelona, whose world is turned down when they meet Javier Bardem and his crazy ex-wife Penelope Cruz, who has been nominated for the best supporting actress gong at the Oscars.
London Pass holders can see these films at Chelsea Cinema on Monday to Thursday and the rest of the week before 17:00 without any further payment.
