London attractions: Horrible Histories Terrible Trenches Exhibition
Published: Friday 30th of July 2010
The family exhibition has been designed to appeal to audiences of all ages and will help children as well as adults to gain an insight into the terrible life in the trenches of the First World War.
Learning about our country's history can be fun and entertaining and make for the perfect family day out.
Youngsters will be able to learn about the difficulties and problems faced by soldiers at war. They will find out how these combatants dealt with sickness and injuries, ate foul food and tackled blood-leeching lice, all while following battleplans.
To make the most of their time in London, parents may also take children to the ship-building exhibition being hosted at HMS Belfast.
It is aimed at giving visitors an introduction into the science and hard work that is put into construction of ships.
