Celebrate Halloween aboard a historic narrow boat
Published: Friday 17th of October 2008
London's Canal Museum is offering an unusual way to enjoy Halloween this year: aboard a narrow boat in Islington Canal.
Guests aboard the specially-decorated boat are told to expect some spooky surprises during their journey through the historic canal.
A witch will be among the crew members and the trip can enjoyed either before or after a tour around the museum, which will itself be in Halloween mood with the appropriate decorations and Halloween-themed events.
Guests are encouraged to dress up to enjoy the fun, as crew members will themselves be donning all manner of costumes, so anyone who decides not to may end up looking a little out of place!
The London Canal Museum celebrates the canals and waterways of the capital, which have a unique and fascinating history. These specially constructed waterways were at one time a crucial part of the city's economic and industrial activity and now form a central piece of its heritage.
LondonPass holders can enjoy free entry to the London Canal Museum in King's Cross, which is a saving of £3 for adult's and £1.50 for children.
