Budding composers offered advice at Handel House Museum

Published: Tuesday 22nd of July 2008

Visitors to England's capital city who fancy themselves an undiscovered Mozart can get advice on where they are going wrong at the Handel House Museum this August.

The institute is hosting a Composer Surgery event on Sunday August 17th which is specifically targeted at families with children who wish to receive assistance in writing down their masterpiece.

Handel House Museum is calling all visitors to London who are "bursting with musical ideas" to bring their symphonies and sonatas along to the workshop where composer-in-residence John Habron will dish out his sage advice and guidance.

Mr Habron will attempt to help with musical compositions and answer questions.

Other events taking place at the venue this summer include Diva Thursday Live starring Giulia Frasi on August 14th.

An earlier Diva Thursday starring Anastasia Robinson on August 7th, in which she will perform a series of arias from Ottone and Giulio Cesare, has already sold out.

Visitors to Handel House Museum can gain entry to the venue using their London Pass.
