London attractions: The Haunted Ballroom
Published: Saturday 23rd of October 2010
As Halloween draws near the capital is taking on a sinister tinge, offering bravehearts a wide variety of choices to test their mettle.
"The Haunted Ballroom" is one such event that is sure to make Halloween this year stand out from those of the past.
It promises a night of vaudeville acts, interactive theatre performances, live music gigs, strange characters dressed up in outrageous costumes as well as a DJ churning out the best of vintage music.
The show will also feature performances by ventriloquist Nina Conti, burlesque artist Vicky Butterfly and performance poet Simon Welsh among others.
Visitors heading to the show could also enjoy a 20 per cent discount on their costumes if they choose to get one from Prangsta.
A debate centred on Demons vs Angels at the Foyles Fear Fest could also be the perfect way to kick off a truly memorable Halloween in the capital, which can be further enriched with a tour of the London Bridge Experience and London Tombs.
