London 'more accessible through new air link'
Published: Tuesday 10th of March 2009
Getting to London from other parts of the UK may have been made much easier, with a new route to the capital launched by Air Southwest.
It will fly from the West Country straight into the city twice daily, which is excellent news for those thinking of exploring the country.
The service will run between both Newquay and Plymouth to City Airport, which is located close to east London's Docklands business district.
"With our new service our customers will save hours of travelling time, with great value fares," comments Peter Davies, chief executive of Air Southwest.
He adds that it will also be "ideal for a short break in London", while also encouraging people to visit Devon and Cornwall.
Those thinking of heading to London can see the docklands for themselves with the London Pass.
Visitors can save themselves £5 per ticket on entry to the London Docklands Museum, which gives an insight into the area's history.
