London 'always regarded as a fashion capital'
Published: Saturday 30th of May 2009
London has always been regarded as one of the world's most fashionable cities, an expert recently revealed.
The city's designer shops are still doing well despite the economic downturn, said Sairey Stemp, fashion editor at Cosmopolitan.
She suggested that top fashion stores are located throughout the city, along with "interesting boutiques" just waiting to be discovered.
"You have got the whole Shoreditch area, you've got Westfield which is a great draw for shopping, and lots of designer labels and lots of mainstream labels as well," the expert continued.
The city has something for everybody, Ms Stemp added, with many of those in the know seeing it as a must-visit destination.
Fashionistas wanting to take a look around London can do so with the London Pass and travel card.
For an additional £7 per day, it offers a great way of travelling around the city without the need for loose change.
