Kids love to cycle, says expert
Published: Tuesday 16th of June 2009
Children want to cycle as much as their parents did when they were younger, it has been said.
According to Greg Woodford, cycle training officer at CTC- The UK's National Cyclists' Organisation, they are often just not given the opportunity to take to two wheels.
"Nowadays, children are not allowed to do as much as they used to - they're not allowed out so much on their bikes by [their] parents," he stated.
Parents need to be encouraged to let their kids cycle more, Mr Woodford revealed, as it can be a very safe and fun activity for all the family to take part in.
Visitors to London can see the city on two wheels for less thanks to the London Pass.
They can head to the London Bicycle Tour Company to rent a bike for free, saving £18.95 per adult and child.
