Brown leaves London for Obama meeting

Prime Minister Gordon Brown has left London behind for a visit to the recently-inaugurated president Barack Obama.
The meeting in Washington is to focus on the worldwide economy, with the two leaders believed to be drawing up a recovery plan.
It is expected the talks in the Oval Office will last around 45 minutes, before having a working lunch with Mr Obama and his officials.
The two-day meeting is taking place ahead of the G20 summit in London, scheduled to take place on April 2nd.
Mr Brown is the first European leader to have met with Mr Obama since his inauguration on January 20th, although Japanese leader Taro Aso beat him to the title of first world leader to do so.
Visitors to the capital can see all its political sights for themselves with the London Travel Card, which can be bought alongside the London Pass for just £7 a day.
