Published: Wednesday 12th of January 2011
Three per cent more visitors made their way to London in November 2010 compared to the same month in the previous year, Visit London figures show.
There was an improvement across all attraction categories, although paid-for attractions were more popular than those that tourists can visit for free.
Visit London chief executive Sally Chatterjee explained: "It's very positive news for London’s tourism industry that that attractions have maintained the upward growth in visitors seen through the year.
"2010 was a very exciting year for the capital's attractions with a range of incredible exhibitions and events to enjoy and 2011 is already gearing up to be another bumper year of must-see attractions."
