Things to do in London: See the capital in a different way with a London Bicycle Tour
Published: Friday 7th of October 2011
People looking for things to do in London could opt for a bicycle tour, which is a fun and unique way to see the capital.
Hosted by the London Bicycle Tour Company at Gabriel's Wharf near Waterloo station, participants can choose a mountain bike or traditional cycle upon which to enjoy the experience.
The tour is guided, with an expert stopping the cycling at intervals in order to explain the history of the surroundings and nearby landmarks.
Safety is paramount, and the tour is designed to keep cyclists away from traffic, while giving them access to areas that could not be seen by car.
People who want to see the capital from a unique perspective could also opt for Jason's Canal Boat Trip.
The tour, which takes place on one of the capital's many canals, gives visitors a unique and surprisingly peaceful view of the city.
Guests can choose a one-way journey to Camden Lock, or opt for the full 1 hour and 30 minute round trip along Regent's canal.
