London attractions 'always evolving'
Published: Friday 22nd of May 2009
London museums and attractions are constantly improving and attracting new visitors, the tourist organisation for the capital says.
The city is always evolving, with the build up to the 2012 Olympics spurring developments on, says senior PR manager for VisitLondon Jacqueline French.
"It is a natural progression and we want to encourage visitors in the run up to 2012 and beyond as well," she added.
Becoming more environmentally friendly is also high on the list for London attractions, with many looking to boost their green tourism credentials, Ms French continued.
She pointed out that London attractions such as West End theatres are reducing their carbon footprints.
Earlier this year the Mayor of London Boris Johnson announced a £2 million international marketing campaign to boost overseas visitors.
Called Only in London, it will highlight the unique London attractions, sights and experiences on offer to tourists.
Visitors to London who have a London Pass can save money when visiting the capital's unique attractions.
