People on the lookout for exciting things to do in London this weekend might want to look no further than an evening of music from classic movies at the Royal Albert Hall.
On Friday May 14th, the audience will be treated to a live performance by the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra of film scores, from timeless classics through to the latest blockbuster releases.
Soundtracks from films as diverse as Harry Potter and Gladiator will be on the bill, as conductor Paul Bateman leads the talented musicians through a memorable night for film and music fans alike.
Lovers of the great Westerns especially won't want to miss out, as the orchestra will be playing iconic themes from the likes of The Magnificent Seven, Dances With Wolves, A Fistful of Dollars and The Good the Bad and the Ugly.
The world famous Royal Albert Hall boasts an unrivalled list of past performers since it first opened in 1871, including Frank Sinatra, Liza Minnelli, Jimi Hendrix, the Beatles, Led Zeppelin and Elton John.
