To see in London: The Frieze Art Fair

Published: Thursday 8th of October 2009

After visiting London attractions such as Benjamin Franklin House, take a short walk to Regent's Park to see the Frieze Art Fair.

The fair is on from October 15th to 18th and features over 150 contemporary art galleries.

Frieze focuses on contemporary art and living artists and includes specially commissioned artists' projects, a prestigious talks programme and an artist-led education schedule.

This year a new section, Frame, has been added to focus on solo exhibitions by regular Frieze galleries open for less than six years.

Last year there were more than 60,000 visitors to the Fair including those with an interest in the art world, such as curators, artists, collectors and critics, as well as the general public.

Some visit as first-time collectors of art while others view the fair more as an exhibition, enjoying the experience as a cultural day out in-between London sightseeing.

The Frieze Art Fair is less than five minutes walk from Regent's Park tube station.
