Published: Sunday 5th of May 2013

If you want to see the very best of London attractions, and experience all that the city has to offer, there are a number of tours which are guaranteed to take guests on the trip of a lifetime.

Whether you fancy travelling by bike, boat or bus, there is something for everyone. So if you want to enjoy spectacular views of the city, why not hop aboard one of London's famous red buses for a special tour?

Alternatively, if you'd rather sit back and cruise your way through some of the most famous sights of London, then there are also plenty of choices for the visitor making their way around the city.

Or perhaps you'd prefer to take advantage of the London Bicycle Tour, which offers yet another unique and leisurely way to experience the city.

Whatever your particular likes and inclinations are, then you are unlikely to be disappointed by the sheer amount of options available to introduce you to the metropolitan hub that is London.

We've picked out some of the three top attractions designed to capture this unique city in a way that will appeal to all tastes and sensibilities.

London Sightseeing Bus Tour

The London Sightseeing Bus Tour was awarded the Sightseeing Provider of the Year Award in February.

And it is not difficult to see why. Not only can guests enjoy learning about the incredible history of London with a friendly and knowledgeable tour guide, but it also comes with a selection of digitally-recorded language commentaries.

Visitors are able to hop on and off at will and enjoy some of the attractions in close proximity. The tour includes three main sightseeing routes, with over 80 stops and plenty of photo opportunities.

Jason's Canal Boat Trip

Meet Jason. Jason is an 100-year-old canal boat which was originally used as a cargo-vessel on the canals. He was later fitted with an engine and from then on was transformed into a passenger-carrying boat. With him, he carries a lot of history, which will be imparted to those lucky enough to hop on board this unique vessel.

This tour is yet another fantastic way to enjoy a trip around London in a relaxed and leisurely way.

Here you can cruise along the different canals that weave through the city and experience a side of London that very few get to see.

Tours last between 45 minutes for a one way trip and one-and-a-half hours for a return trip. Some of the nearby attractions include the London Canal Museum which is a perfect compliment to the tour.

It also happens to be near London Zoo and the Lord's Cricket Ground Tours.

London Bicycle Tour

Or why not just cycle through the city? If you are a bit more of a sporty type or you're feeling a bit active, get on your bike and experience London in a whole new way.

These guided tours keep you away from the busy traffic and a number of different routes are available.

The tour is also available in a number of different languages and night tours are also on offer.

Guests can either choose to bike their way through central London and the West End, or alternatively you may  choose to join the excursion through East London.

Whichever tour you choose to go on, you are sure to find something here that suits your needs.
