Jason's Original Canal Boat trip offers new perspective on London attractions
Published: Monday 15th of August 2011
Tourists wishing to see London attractions from a different perspective should opt for Jason's Original Canal Boat Trip.
The tour of the capital's waterways allows for a tranquil and unusual perspective of the famous city from Regent's Canal.
Jason is a 100-year-old canal boat which started life as a cargo vessel, before being assigned to the sightseeing tour in 1951.
The tour takes visitors between Little Venice and Camden Lock, with a live commentary focusing on the canal's history since 1800.
It lasts forty-five minutes one way, or an hour and a half round trip and travels through Regent's Park for one of the best views of London Zoo.
The trip is also a great way to access Camden, which features a famous weekend market as well as numerous unique pubs, bars and restaurants.
Fans of tours will also enjoy the London Bicycle Tour, during which sightseers mount a mountain bike or traditional cycle and enjoy a unique guided tour of the city.
