Experience the beauty of London from the Thames

There is nothing quite like cruising along the river on a bright autumn morning, taking in the sunshine and the beautiful scenery.
And with London being the diverse and lively metropolitan hub that it is, there is hardly a better place to go gliding across the river.
It's the perfect time of year too - with events like the Great River Race, which has helped to entertain Londoners over the last few days.
The race itself kicked off on Saturday September 7th and 300 boats from all over the UK and around the world set sail across the Thames, going from London Docklands to Ham House near Richmond, Surrey.
Thousands of people from all over the city came to cheer the participants as they embarked upon their 22-mile boat trip across the river.
Events like these really serve to highlight the exciting activities that take place across London on an almost daily basis. Hardly a day goes by when there isn't some new and exciting festivity or celebration taking place in the capital.
So why not be a part of it all? If you want the best views of London, why not take a river ride of your own?
For example, the Thames River Boat Tour is a perfect way to get around the city. Not only does it weave visitors through the heart of the city, but it comes complete with on board entertainment and catering.
In terms of entertainment, this includes jazz bands, rock bands, string quartets, karaoke, discos and casino tables.
Highlights of the cruise include the site of the Cutty Sark, Canary Wharf, the Tower of London and the Tate Modern, among others.
