Enjoy the fun and festivities at London's greatest fringe festival
Published: Monday 5th of August 2013
Camden Fringe is a lively medley of theatre, song and spoken word which is set to entertain visitors all over the London borough.
This amazing festival is the brainchild of Zena Barrie and Michelle Flower, who started out by showing off their talent at the Edinburgh Fringe. But like all good things in life, the festival was destined for sharing and was thus reborn in London.
So what can you expect from this high-powered performance party in Camden? Well from July 29th until August 25th, visitors will be immersed in a concoction of theatre shows, live music, stand up shows, ballads and poetry.
If you are looking for things to do in London, this presents a unique chance to enjoy a variety of performances by talented artists in the capital. There is also the chance to explore the canals that weave their way through the heart of this great city.
Because while you are enjoying the monumental talent that will be on display in Camden, the Jason's Original Canal Boat Trip will be taking guests on leisurely tours across the capital.
Tranquility is the name of the game here, as the boat takes you away from all the dance and din of London into a world of peaceful waterways, natural beauty and interesting sights.
Think of it as a bit of a city escape, after a busy day immersing yourself in the cultural highlights of Camden Fringe.
One of the great things about London is that it has a bit of everything - great food, fantastic fringe festivals, fascinating city tours and fun boat rides.
But if you happen to be heading over to Camden Lock, rather than jumping on crowded buses or trains, simply hop aboard the canal boat, which will take you directly there,
Or if you want the full round trip along Regent's Canal, then you get a whole 90 minutes' worth of sightseeing to enjoy.
So if you're out and about in London this month, join the party atmosphere at the fringe festival, and then top it all off with a good dose of water, aboard the canal tour.
