Things to do in London: Kids' workshops at London Transport Museum
Published: Monday 21st of March 2011
On certain days between April 11th and the 23rd, children can use a giant map to create their very own Fantasy Journeys through the capital, using everyday objects to create landmarks and bus shelters.
Meanwhile, kids are also invited to create a new staff uniform for London buses, as well as trying on drivers' caps, ties and badges.
There will also be a storytelling session about the adventures of the new bus for London, and the museum's extensive poster collection will be used to describe the journey of the Magic Bus.
On March 22nd, adults are invited to come to the London Transport Museum to hear social historian Juliet Gardiner talk about the impact of the Blitz on modern-day life.
