Pop music fans looking for things to do in London flock to British Music Experience
Published: Wednesday 7th of April 2010
Pop music fans who are eager to find exciting things to do in London should look no further than the British Museum Experience.
This unique and permanent exhibition is situated at the O2 music venue in London and uses state-of-the-art effects to the delight of pop pickers the world over.
All kinds of genres are covered at the British Music Experience, meaning that everyone from teenyboppers to metal heads, mods, rockers and moshers, to dance divas and soul groovers should be in for a treat.
A variety of bands and artists are explored - everything from the Beatles to the Spice Girls, the Sex Pistols to Coldplay, and everything in between.
The British Music Experience website says of the exhibition: "As well as celebrating the era defining sounds created in this country, it also pays homage to international artists who have found their inspiration or audience within the UK."
A special event known as the Great Music Debate is set to take place at the attraction on April 29th, when a heavyweight panel will discuss the issues surrounding the future of the music industry in the digital era.
