Museum in Docklands to launch birthday celebrations

Published: Wednesday 16th of July 2008

Museum in Docklands is celebrating its fifth birthday this month with a weekend of family-friendly fun events.

On Saturday July 26th, Museum in Docklands will host a special adult's day while activities on Sunday July 27th will be geared towards children of all ages.

Saturday July 26th will be devoted to talks on the history of Museum in Docklands while special events will include the showing of rare film footage from London's Screen Archives, detailing the lives of regular Londoners during and following the second world war.

Visitors to London are urged to "come and join in the party celebrations" at Museum in Docklands, where on the Sunday, children can enjoy stories from around the world, visits from "extraordinary characters", dressing up activities, magic tricks and song and dance.

And of course what birthday party would be complete without birthday cake?

Visitors to Museum in Docklands can gain entry to the venue using their London Pass.
