Military vehicle rally at Firepower
Published: Friday 13th of February 2009
A London attraction commemorating the activities of the British armed forces will give visitors a fantastic chance to see some spectacular and much-loved military vehicles this weekend.
Firepower Royal Artillery Museum will be holding the Military Vehicle Rally this Saturday and Sunday (February 14th and 15th) at its historic site of the Royal Woolwich Arsenal.
On display will be such iconic craft as military Jeeps, Land Rovers and armoured vehicles including tanks and troop carriers from current and past eras.
With such a mix of recent and much older vehicles there really should be something for everyone at this special event.
The Firepower Royal Artillery Museum in one form or another dates back as far as 1820, moving to its current location at the Royal Woolwich Arsenal in 2001.
LondonPass holders can gain free admission to Firepower Royal Artillery Museum in Woolwich, south-east London, saving adult £5 and children £2.50.
