Lots of things to do in London during Easter school holidays

Published: Tuesday 30th of March 2010

Those looking for things to do in London with young children have numerous options available to them during the Easter school holidays.

The Firepower Royal Artillery Museum is running a full programme of events between April 6th and 16th which promises fun with an educational slant that could be perfect for schoolchildren.

Among the sessions on offer will be military drill, crafts, films and the chance to meet with wartime characters.

Extra events on offer through the period include the Camo Zone, where children get the chance to take a Bungee Run challenge, to get involved in Tank Command and to give the firing range a try.

The museum adds: "Perhaps the most exciting of all is the chance to fire a genuine Second World War 25 pounder gun and everyone who fires the gun gets a commemorative certificate."

Adults looking for things to do in London may rather pay a visit to the Handel House Museum, which is running a number of events this year including recitals and performances.
