Published: Friday 26th of November 2010

Visitors to the London Canal Museum, a top attraction to visit with a London pass, have a number of events to look forward to over the months to come.

On December 2nd, the museum hosts a talk by waterways photographer Derek Pratt entitled The Thames: The Royal River, which includes a free glass of wine and festive mince pie.

Next, January 6th sees a talk on the legacy of the Olympic Waterways by Mark Blackwell, British Waterways manager in Lower Lea Valley, while February 3rd will see an illustrated talk on the Maidenhead Waterways Restoration.

Meanwhile, an exhibition of images by photographer Tim Lewis and artist Maryam Hashemi runs until January 31st 2011.

As well as providing a wealth of information about the area's canals and waterways, the London Canal Museum offers guided walks of the Regent's Canal.

The museum can be found in King's Cross and is located within a former ice warehouse used by ice cream entrepreneur Carlo Gatti.
