London attractions: Infernal Combustion at Kew Bridge Steam Museum
Published: Friday 9th of September 2011
The special Infernal Combustion weekend will allow visitors to take a closer look at the museum's resident collection of large internal combustion pumping engines, as well as seeing a number of new visiting exhibits they may not have seen before.
Additionally, the Sussex and Kent Weald Stationary Engine Group will be on hand throughout the weekend to offer their expertise in all things steam-powered.
As well as the internal combustion exhibits, the museum will be running a selection of its famous stationary steam pumping engines and the narrow gauge steam railway.
Recent visitors to the museum will have had a Victorian-themed treat, as the Greatest Steampunk Exhibition ran until August 29th, collecting some of the finest examples of the unique art form.
