London attraction HMS Belfast hosts 'naval tattoo workshop' in August

This week sees premier London attraction HMS Belfast offering visitors an opportunity to learn about the naval tradition of tattoos.

The drop-in sessions will be hosted on the famous war ship museum in the morning and afternoon until August 21st.

Experts will offer insights into the tradition and culture of painted skin in the navy, while visitors will also be given the opportunity to design their own personal tattoo.

Entry to the special events, which are held between 11:00-12:30 and 14:00-16:00 BST every day, is included in the admission price for this London attraction, making for a fun-packed and reasonably priced day out for families.

Next month, HMS Belfast will be hosting a special naval communication workshop, offering insights into the essentials of naval communication.

Visitors can even learn how to signal their own message to ships or across the River Thames using semaphore.
