Published: Tuesday 2nd of February 2010

People visiting England's capital this month should make sure they do not miss out on the last few weeks of the Mr Handel's Friends exhibition at the Handel House Museum.

The current exhibition ends on February 28th, so tourists should schedule a visit to the London attraction to take a look at private letters and diaries that explore the friendships and relationships of the baroque composer George Frideric Handel.

There are a number of other entertaining events scheduled this month at the Handel House Museum, which was home to the composer from 1723 until his death in 1759.

This Thursday (February 4th), David Massey, finalist in the 2006 BBC Young Musician of the Year competition, will be performing a solo guitar recital exploring Romantic music in The Guitar at the Opera between 18:30 and 18:30GMT at the museum.

The Handel House Museum is located on Brook Street, which is a short walk from the famous London shopping area - Oxford Street.
