Catch last days of exhibition at London attraction V&A museum
Published: Friday 15th of January 2010
This weekend will be the last chance for visitors to England's capital to see the Maharaja: The Splendour of India's Royal Courts exhibition at top London attraction, the Victoria and Albert Museum.
Visitors to the exhibition will be able to learn more about the Maharajas of India between the early 18th century to the end of British rule in 1947 and the luxurious lifestyles they lead.
Over 250 objects, including many from India's royal collection, are on display as part of the exhibition.
Among these objects is a turban ornament that is made of gold, diamonds, rubies, sapphires and pearls.
The museum is on Cromwell Road in south-west London and is a five minute walk from South Kensington Station, which is on the route of the Circle, District and Piccadilly lines of the London Underground.
