Windsor Castle welcomes spring festivities

Those visiting London next month may want to consider joining in the Windsor Festival Spring Weekend.

Celebrating its 40th anniversary, the event is set to be extra special this year, with various events taking place across the city.

Among the highlights will be a performance of Bach's Mass in B minor, set to be performed in St George's Chapel at Windsor Castle.

Tickets will go on sale on February 24th, with visitors to the region able to book online using the event's website.

Other main events include a performance by the Southbank Sinfonia, which will be playing pieces by Beethoven alongside talented players from the Academy of St Martin in the Fields.

Children's activities will also be held, making the event a great occasion for all the family.

Visitors who want to explore Windsor Castle further can take advantage of free entry with their London Pass, which gives a saving of £14.80 on an adult ticket and £8.50 on a child's.
