Published: Sunday 6th of June 2010

Visitors planning their trips to London attractions would be interested to know that the Tower of London is re-enacting history in a series of special events over the summer this year.

Families with young children can head to the Tower of London to enjoy an entertaining day out with kids that would teach people about wars on Scotland lead by King Edward I.

Attendees will get a chance to view how the King's army readied themselves for the battles in 1306, preparing their siege engines and training to take on the Scottish troops of Robert the Bruce.

Recently, Barclays announced that it would support the London Cycle Hire System, boosting transport in-between London attractions making travelling easier for visiting tourists.

Cyclist and mayor of London Boris Johnson said he appreciated Barclays' commitment to encourage and start a "cycling revolution in London".
