Things to do in London: Hampton Court Palace Flower Show

Published: Tuesday 6th of July 2010

Gardening enthusiasts making their way to London attractions such as Kew Gardens can make the most of their trip by visiting the on-going flower shows in the city.

Hosted by the Royal Horticulture Society, the flower shows appeal to novice gardeners as well as the more experienced ones.

Organised in the gardens of the Hampton Court Palace, the event will be featuring show gardens alongside exhibitions showcasing pictures of the best gardeners of today.

The show is full of fresh ideas to help visitors start their own gardening projects at home. The humble start of a potted vegetable plant can start off a long-term love affair that could see the backyards of many Britons transform into a masterpiece.

At the end of the show, visitors will be given the opportunity to take home some of the plants that have caught their fancy at a bargain price.
