Things to do in London: Be enthralled by St Paul's
Published: Sunday 28th of October 2012
Look out across the London horizon and the majestic dome of St Paul's Cathedral is more than likely to catch your eye.
Along with the likes of the O2 Arena and the London Eye, it is one of the most noticeable landmarks in the city from the air and it just as stunning from the ground, looking up.
It was originally built between 1675 and 1710, but enjoyed a renovation just recently to bring it back to its former glory and St Paul's is far from being just for show.
Over the course of its 300-year-plus history, the cathedral has seen countless events come and go and now includes a number of different sections devoted to various groups who have passed away.
What's more, you should definitely check out the very best views of central London by climbing the 530 steps to the Whispering Gallery.
