Things to do in London: Awe-inspiring organ recitals at St Paul's Cathedral

St Paul's Cathedral is well known as one of the most incredible London attractions, but visitors have even more reason to pay a visit over the coming weeks and months.

A series of organ recitals will be drawing in the visitors from all over the world, starting with a performance going by the name of Organ Spectacular: A Battle of Three Organs, which takes place at the cathedral on April 22nd.

St Paul's Cathedral's resident organists Simon Johnson, Tim Wakerell and Tim Harper will be putting on the stunning show from 18:30 BST, which means visitors will have plenty of time to take a tour of the building earlier in the day before settling down to the atmospheric music.

Other upcoming organ recitals at St Paul's Cathedral include a performance by Hans Fagius on May 6th, Simon Johnson on June 3rd and Timothy Wakerell on July 1st.

Visitors to St Paul's Cathedral should note that the nearest Underground station is St Paul's on the Central Line, while the major local over-ground stations within walking distance are London Bridge, Cannon Street and Blackfriars.
