See the King's Guard Chamber at Hampton Court Palace

This summer, visitors in London sightseeing can explore the King's Guard Chamber at Hampton Court Palace using their London passes.

Until August 22nd 2008 as part of the Hampton Court Palace All fired-up event, visitors to the venue will be able to learn about a four-year conservation project relating to 2,846 pieces of arms and armour from the King's Guard chamber.

Described as a "rare opportunity" for visitors to the palace to get an up close look at the arms of the King's Guard Chamber as part of the All fired-up event, guests can view the trophy displays of King William III.

Interesting weaponry includes wooden centrepieces surrounded by muskets and pistols as well as bayonets and sword blades.

Other military equipment surrounding the display includes pikes, cartridge pouches, drums, bandoliers and the all-important armour.

Visitors to the Hampton Court Palace can gain entry to the event using their London Pass.
