Save on London Attractions and celebrate Friends' 15th anniversary at Central Perk
Published: Thursday 1st of October 2009
After an exciting day of visiting many London attractions, stop for a coffee at a familiar looking cafe - Central Perk from hit TV sitcom Friends.
To celebrate 15 years since TV show Friends first aired, the famous coffee shop has been replicated on Soho's Broadwick Street, but is only open for another week.
The temporary cafe, which closes on October 7th, contains a number of props from the programme including the Gellar Cup - an ugly trophy from characters Ross and Monica Gellar's childhoods and a bridesmaid dress Rachel was forced to wear to her ex-fiance's wedding.
As on the show, large Central Perk stickers are on the windows and the iconic orange sofa, which the five stars used to sit on in almost every episode, is also inside.
Broadwick Street is a short distance from many London attractions such as Apsley House, home of the first Duke of Wellington and his descendants, which stands at Hyde Park Corner - a six minute walk from the pop-up Friends cafe.
