Royal Albert Hall offers cultural things to do in London on Sundays
Published: Tuesday 6th of April 2010
People on the lookout for enjoyable things to do in London on Sundays should look no further than the Royal Albert Hall - especially if they love live music.
This most iconic of London attractions is hosting Classical Coffee Mornings on the day of rest each week, which are said to be the perfect way to enjoy a relaxing Sunday in the capital.
Young classical musicians from the Royal College of Music will be putting on performances, with visitors able to sample a coffee and pastry or even a three-course meal as they listen to the talented artists.
Next Sunday (April 11th), visitors to the Royal Albert Hall have the chance to see Serge Villa with Julia van Beuningen, Marta Santamaria and Antoine Francoise in a performance beginning at 11:30 BST.
Commenting on the Serge Villa concert, the Royal Albert Hall website states: "This enthusiastic percussionist performs a lively programme of three contemporary solos for percussion and duets with his friends on cello, flute and percussion."
Meanwhile, tickets have gone on sale for the latest performance of Swan Lake at the Royal Albert Hall, which runs from June 9th until the 19th.
