Planning things to do in London becomes easier with culture diary

Published: Thursday 3rd of June 2010

The Mayor of London has announced the launch of a new Cultural Diary that will make planning visits to London attractions easy and stress-free for visitors.

Boris Johnson has urged all groups, troupes and other management staff involved in planning cultural events to sign up to the diary.

Set to go live before January 1st, 2012, it is hoped to turn into an events aggregator that will help tourists as well as Londoners keep track of their busy social schedules during the year and plan visits to famous landmarks such as the Tower of London and St Paul's Cathedral.

The mayor has urged creative Londoners not to miss out on this unique opportunity to give the world a unified and colourful picture of London.

He said: "We have created the 2012 Culture Diary, a superb online resource that will show everything that is going on in that brilliant year."

Recently it was announced that the tickets for the 2010 London Restaurant Festival would go on sale on next week on June 8th.
