London attractions: Visit Windsor Castle at Christmas

Those looking for great London attractions to visit on a trip to the capital should consider stopping by Windsor Castle over the Christmas season.
The royal residency has been getting into the festive spirit and has made a number of changes that make the destination a perfect stop for those visiting the city.
For the rest of December, the state apartments of the castle will be decorated for the festive season, creating a perfect, picturesque experience for all the family.
Both St George's Hall and the Crimson Drawing Room will boast Christmas trees and the State Dining Room will be laid out for a traditional Victorian feast.
Windsor Castle is the oldest and largest occupied castle in the world and in addition to the seasonal trimmings it offers a wide range of different sites for visitors, including the masterpiece Queen Mary's Doll House and the burial place of ten British monarchs.
Royalists may also want to visit London attraction the Banqueting House, a classic Inigo Jones-designed building that was originally intended for masques, receptions and entertainment.
