London attractions 'need to look their best'
Published: Thursday 21st of May 2009
It is necessary for top London attractions to look their best for tourists, one expert revealed.
Jacqueline French, senior PR manager for VisitLondon, said that this is very important for people who choose to visit them.
She referred to the Monument, which was subject to a huge refurbishment before being unveiled again earlier this year, improving the experience for tourists.
Ms French recognised that people visit the city for a number of reasons "whether it's to see the history and the heritage, to see the view from London Eye for example, or whether it is to experience the arts and culture".
With the London Pass, visiting Monument is free of charge, saving £3 per adult and £1 per child.
The top attraction was designed by Sir Christopher Wren to commemorate the Great Fire of London and is billed as one of the best ways to get a fantastic view over the city.
