Published: Monday 15th of September 2008

Kew Gardens – one of London's premier tourist attractions – is inviting visitors to celebrate its 250th anniversary.

From November 29th 2008 to January 4th 2009, the London attraction will host a number of festive activities for the whole family to enjoy.

On December 13th, Kew Gardens will be transformed into a winter wonderland, when the attraction is decked out with sparkling decorations, lights and Christmas trees.

Visitors can also see Father Christmas in his grotto and buy any last-minute Christmas gifts from the White Peaks Children's Shop.

Kew Gardens will also feature its very own ice rink, with visitors invited to skate the night away against a spectacular backdrop.

Festive food and drink will also be on hand to keep visitors refreshed.

One of London's most popular attractions, some of the highlights of Kew Gardens include the Waterlily House, Bamboo Garden and Palm House Parterre.

Visitors can gain entry to the attraction using their London Pass.
