Listen to Spanish songs at top London attraction the Banqueting House
Published: Tuesday 12th of January 2010
The tenor singer and guitar player will perform a selection of songs from Spain at 19:00 on Monday, January 25th.
A buffet supper is to follow the performance.
The Banqueting House stands on the site where the Archbishops of York's property stood, until it burned down in 1698.
It was then rebuilt and used as the first banqueting houses in Whitehall.
Those visiting the London attraction should ensure that they take time to look at the Rubens ceiling - the only surviving in-situ ceiling painting by Sir Peter Paul Rubens.
The painting depicts the Union of the Crowns, The Apotheosis of James I and The Peaceful Reign of James I and was one of the last things that Charles I saw before he was executed on a scaffold outside the building in 1649.
