Last Post: Remembering the First World War at the Churchill Museum and Cabinet War Rooms.

From November 6th 2008 until February 14th, the Churchill Museum and Cabinet War Rooms will be hosting an exhibition offering a fascinating insight into the work of the Post Office during the First World War.

Last Post: Remembering the First World War will be held in association with the British Postal Museum & Archive and will commemorate the 90th anniversary of the end of the conflict.

The exhibition will look at how the institution of the Post Office responded to the challenge of getting mail to soldiers and sailors all over the world.

It will also look at the crucial role of telephone equipment laid by the Post Office in achieving military success.

London Pass holders can explore a prime example of Britain's military history by visiting the Churchill Museum and Cabinet War Rooms for free.
