Hampton Court Palace offers top ten London attractions

Ten of the best London attractions are located at just one fantastic destination: Hampton Court Palace.
The historic building's official website lists the top ten things to do at the palace, with a visit to Henry VIII's Great Hall right up there at the top of the list.
Other unmissable attractions at Hampton Court Palace include the Young Henry VIII exhibition, the world famous maze, the intriguing Tudor kitchens and of course the beautiful gardens surrounding the iconic building.
Visitors to Hampton Court Palace are also advised not to miss the Living Tudor World exhibits, the great range of family fun activities, the kids' ghost trail, The Chapel Royal and, last but by no means least, the on-site Tiltyard cafe and its famous children's meal deal.
Hampton Court Palace is located next to the River Thames to the south-west of London, just six miles or so from the start of the M3.
South West Trains run services direct from London Waterloo to Hampton Court: the journey takes only 35 minutes and the palace is a 200-metre walk across the bridge from the station.
