Foodies Festival at London attraction

Published: Friday 17th of April 2009

A top London attraction is set to host a food festival next month.

Hampton Court Palace will play host to the Foodies Festival between May 23rd and 25th.

It will feature the latest Masterchef winner Mat Follas, who will be under the public spotlight once again as he takes to the stage to perform a live cooking show.

There will also be a local produce market selling fresh ingredients and masterclasses for different types of cuisine.

Organisers explain that Mat will be "joined on stage by Michelin star and top chefs from leading restaurants, who will prepare their favourite dishes, inspire you to try new recipes, and give you hints and tips on how to improve your cooking skills".

The London attraction will be busy throughout May, hosting a Tudor Music Festival to celebrate the anniversary of Henry VIII's accession to the throne.

Food will also feature at this festival too, with a distinctly Tudor twist to proceedings.

London Pass holders can access Hampton Court Palace for free.
