Enjoy the 'best of British' at Windsor Festival

Published: Tuesday 9th of September 2008

Visitors to London can soak up some British culture at Windsor Festival, which takes place later this month.

From September 14th to September 28th, a number of cultural events will take place in the town, with concerts also being staged at Windsor Castle.

As well as musical events and performances, some of Britain's leading journalists and writers – including Kate Adie, Peter Snow and Sir John Mortimer - will take to the stage to entertain the crowds entertained with their tales of life under the spotlight.

Other events include an opera gala night, string competition and an evening of jazz at Carluccio's, near Windsor Royal Station.

There is something for everyone to enjoy at the festival and London Pass holders can see even more of Windsor by taking a tour around the famous castle.

Lived in by royalty for over 900 years, Windsor Castle is a stunning attraction that is begging to be explored.
