Eltham Palace included in online TV line-up

Published: Saturday 2nd of August 2008

The conservation charity English Heritage has launched an online TV service which includes programmes filmed at historic locations such as Eltham Palace in London.

EHTV will provide a range of videos and audio programmes for English history enthusiasts to download or stream and enjoy.

The Eltham Palace show will be presented by flamboyant interior designer, and former star of Changing Rooms, Laurence Llewelyn-Bowen.

Other programmes on EHTV will explore mysterious wartime caves at Dover Castle, look at various conservation projects taking place at historical sites throughout the UK and offer tips on how to cook like a Roman.

Dan Wolfe, English Heritage's marketing director, said: "Whether you're a history buff or beginner, young child or grandparent, we want EHTV to entertain, educate and most of all, share our expertise and excitement about our heritage with a wider audience."

London Pass holders can enjoy free access to Eltham Palace.
