Catch last days of events at top London attraction the Tower of London

Those visiting England's capital this week should make sure they do not miss out on events taking place in top London attraction the Tower of London.

Many of the Tower of London's popular exhibitions will finish at the end of this month, including Prisoners of the Tower.

This exhibition tells of the towers most famous prisoners including the sons of Edward IV who were declared illegitimate, locked in the tower and never seen alive again.

Those visiting the London attraction in January need not fear as many of the tower's exhibitions will continue into the new year.

Henry VIII: Dressed to Kill, for example, runs until January 17th, 2010. This exhibition covers three floors and celebrates the 500th anniversary of Henry Tudor becoming King of England.

Rare arms and armour owned by the king are on display, including his Tonlet armour, which was constructed at Henry's Greenwich workshop and was worn by the king in the foot combat at the Field of Cloth of Gold in 1520.
