Best London attractions: Tower of London is 'fit for a king'

The Tower of London is sealing its reputation as one of the best London attractions, thanks to its current exhibition entitled Fit for a King.
On the attraction's official website it is stated that the exhibition, which opened at the start of this month, is a "stunning" showcase covering five centuries of royal armour.
Kids will be thrilled by the special show, which is being run in conjunction with Royal Armouries, as it offers a "fascinating insight into the personalities, power and physical size of England's kings".
There is said to be an astonishing collection of unusual objects on display, such as diamond-encrusted weapons and the finest suits of armour from around the world.
One standout item is a set of silvered armour which dates back to around 1515, which is decorated with intertwined initials celebrating the marriage of King Henry VIII and Katherine of Aragon.
The origins of the formidable Tower of London date back to the early 1080s, when William the Conqueror began to build a massive stone tower at the centre of his London fortress, of which nothing of the like had been seen before.
